Hands up who likes a mid-morning, mid-afternoon, after-dinner snack! Me too. And to be 100% honest, it’s not always the awesome healthy stuff I’m snacking on, are you with me? So, to help us all out, we’ve found a fabulous recipe from busy_bees_kitchen that stop those 2pm cravings and fill us up with yummy goodness instead. And the best bit? It’s organic, so no nasty chemicals will be left racing through your body causing havoc. So good! Keen? Here’s the recipe…

Mocha Protein Balls recipe

1 cup dry roasted hazelnuts, brazil nuts or a mixture
1 cup soaked pitted dates (keep juice in case mixture is too dry)
2 Tablespoons Sacred Grounds Organic Drinking Chocolate (yum-yum!)
2 serves of cacao protein powder
2 teaspoons of lucuma or alternate sugar substitute
1 Tablespoon organic maple syrup or rice malt syrup
1 shot Sacred Grounds espresso
a pinch of sea salt

Set your food processor to ON, load it up with all this goodness, lock the lid and blend away! Keep it going until ingredients are moist.

Roll in coconut, cacao nibs or cacao powder and eat! (Makes 12- 15 balls)
