Do you know there’s only twenty-something days until Christmas? Deep breath! If you’re one of the oodles of people who haven’t even started their Christmas shopping yet, we have 10 gift ideas you can buy, order or make today!

1. Coffee body scrub

This is the easiest present you’ll ever make. Just collect those gorgeous coffee grounds, mix 1/4 of a cup with 1/2 cup raw sugar. Then bind it all together with 1/3 cup coconut oil (or your favourite nutty oil). to make it look extra pretty , pop it in a beautiful retro jar with a ribbon around the lid! This combo was based on the Coffee & Sugar Body Scrub recipe from Freutcake.com

2. Breakfast date

There’s really nothing more precious than time, these days, so why not buy your favourite aunt, cousin or BFF, a brekkie voucher you can enjoy together, complete with coffee of course. Think pancakes, freshly squeezed juice or gourmet eggs with scrumptious sides. Perfect!

Here’s how… No Sew Burlap Coffee Bean Sack Sofa Pillows from Funky Junk Interiors.

4. Fancy coffee dripper set

If you’re buying for someone who loves their coffee but has everything from grinders to top notch machine, why not introduce them to the joys of light roast coffee?! Buy them their very own dripper set and watch them whip around the kitchen, making a cuppa for everyone!

Now yours doesn’t have to be as hip/fancy as this one but every home could do with a wall of plants. The best part is that you can make it out of recycled materials hanging around your home! Recycle, reuse. It’s good for the earth and it will look pretty funky too! Fill it with herbs, flowers or succulents and it’s sure to be a Christmas fave. Here are 10 Vertical garden ideas from Home Talk.

7. Christmass-y Rum balls

Everyone loves a homemade treat and although these babies aren’t 100% healthy, they’re a delicious, chewy treat your family will love.  Bundle up a few in cellophane, tie with a ribbon and you’ve got the perfect gift for teachers, friends or as a yummy addition to a hamper. Make them with rum or without and they’ll still taste great. Find our recipe here…

8. Barista course

Want to give a gift that will keep on giving? A barista course is a great present for the person who has it all (and loves a great cup of coffee too!) They’ll learn how to make the perfect coffee, fancy patterns and a whole load of other helpful tips. But be warned, coffee-making is addictive.

9. Quirky artwork

Fill up those bland walls with some funky artwork. Either create it yourself (if you’re that way inclined) or head to a market or to the artist directly for a unique masterpiece. Cafes often show gorgeous pieces that are also for sale, which is a great excuse for a coffee and a read of the paper. Or why not check out the super-talented Fernando Mosca and his amazing artworks created using coffee!

10. Personalised travel coffee mug

A super-fun present, you can now custom design travel coffee mugs using photos of friends and family. They’ll crack up when they realise that they’re the star of their own mug. Classic! Make sure the cup is high quality, though, you don’t want to ruin the design with pesky leaks.

What’s on your Christmas list this year?
